Columbus Fashion Academy (CFA) is a vibrant creative platform dedicated to interacting with the world and making an impact. Our mission is to transform lives through fashion by fostering education, artistic freedom, environmental care, and the success of all people. We believe that fashion is a powerful tool for self-expression, discovery, and connection, and we are committed to creating programs that empower individuals to realize their creative potential.
At the heart of CFA is The Creatives, a talented group of artists and educators united by their love for fashion and their dedication to education, community, and the planet. With rich international experiences and a passion for empowering people of all ages, this team embodies the spirit of creativity and inclusivity that defines our mission.
We are also proud to champion the Maker Mindset, fostering creativity and confidence in budding fashionistas and tinkerers as young as five years old. Through our proprietary methodologies, we inspire and equip individuals to transform their ideas into reality, nurturing a generation of innovators who embrace the joy of learning and making.

A word from our founder
Priscila Teixeira is the founder and visionary behind Columbus Fashion Academy (CFA), the driving force behind the empowering movement, "Wear What You Love Every Day."
With a deep passion for education, artistic freedom, fashion sustainability and multi-generational community learning, Priscila is dedicated to transforming lives by fostering human connections, self-advocacy, self-discover, creative problem solving, and confidence through fashion.
Born in São Paulo, Brazil, and a lifelong learner with global credentials from renowned institutions, Priscila leads with compassion and vision, inspiring others to discover their creative potential, embrace their unique journey, find their gift and give back to the world.

Empower the Next Generation: Get Certified to Teach Fashion Runway Production in Just 3 Simple Steps

FOUNDATION OF FASHION RUNWAY PRODUCTION
Description:
Dive into the core principles of fashion runway production, our flagship program. This step introduces the program's educational goals, teaching methodologies, and materials. Participants will gain insights into how to structure lessons, foster creativity, keep artistic freedom at the highest of their priorities and prepare students to be themselves.
Outcome:
Participants complete this step with a solid understanding of the program's structure and objectives.

HANDS-ON WORKSHOP AND PRACTICAL APPLICATION
Description:
Experience the magic of runway production firsthand through an immersive, hands-on workshop.
Outcome:
Participants gain practical experience and confidence in delivering the program, supported by feedback from mentors.

CERTIFICATION & CLASSROOM READINESS
Description:
In the final step, participants present a 1h class that sums-up the core values and basic curriculum, plus complete a brief assessment to demonstrate readiness. Upon successful review, you’ll receive certification, access to program materials, and ongoing support to bring Fashion Runway Production to life in your classroom or community.
Outcome:
Certified instructors are equipped with the tools, confidence, and resources to empower students to transform their ideas into stunning runway experiences.
